Summerstone Community Development District
The Summerstone Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on July 17, 2020 by the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners, Ordinance No. 20-28 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Summerstone CDD encompasses an area of approximately 175.056 +\- acres in unincorporated Pasco County, Florida. The land within the District is generally located north of State Road 56, south of Brumwell Drive and west of Morris Bridge Road.
The Summerstone CDD may authorize the general powers provided in Section 190.011, Florida Statutes. The District may exercise the special powers for parks and recreation services and facilites, security services and facilities, and waste collection and disposal services pursuant to Sections 190.012(2)(a), 190.012(2)(d) and 190.012(2)(f), Florida Statutes
